"We have been more than pleased with the preschool experience. Eva has actually said that she loves that she gets to go to church and learn about Jesus at school.  Simple choice from there."

Sarah, current parent

 Our Mission

The mission of our preschool is to provide each child with vast opportunities through a classical education approach, which allows the children to explore and learn. Preschoolers visit the school library, computer lab, and Divine Artworks Center to engage in a variety of ways. They also participate in physical education classes, as well as field trips and educational assemblies. We provide a safe and secure environment where respect for self and others is emphasized. At Christ the Divine Teacher, we strive to:

  • Help our children feel secure in making the transition from home to school

  • Inspire a love for learning in preparation for kindergarten

  • Foster the natural curiosity that is innate in every child

  • Instill in children a love of God and appreciation for His gifts

 Our Staff

Our caring and qualified teachers motivate the children to develop self-expression, auditory listening skills and motor skills within a nurturing environment full of energy, imagination, music, dance and creative play.

My heart belongs to my preschoolers."

Kimberly Marsh has taught preschool throughout her entire 33-year teaching career. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Seton Hill University, and earned a teaching certificate in early childhood education. While Kim is certified to teach up to third grade, she professes her devotion to teaching preschool: "I'm qualified to teach pre-k to grade three, but I have to confess β€” my heart belongs to my preschoolers."

I feel the need to do what I love, and that is being in the classroom."
Karen Stewart graduated from Seton Hill University with a degree in psychology and an early childhood and elementary education certificate. After raising her two sons, Karen returned to the classroom to achieve her teaching goals: "My goal is to teach young children in a caring and nurturing setting and to help them grow to be the best they can. It is amazing to see what their imaginations can do. I am honored to be a part of molding them into the beautiful persons they will become!"
