Student council is the student government organization of Christ the Divine Teacher School. The purpose of the council is to serve the faculty, staff, and students of the school, as well as those in need in the surrounding communities. Mrs. Slough is the faculty adviser of the student council.
The student council consists of an elected executive board of sixth graders who organize, participate in, and conduct activities to support school spirit and service. There are also fourth, fifth and sixth grade homeroom representatives who work as the heads of committees. The committees are spiritual life, social, service, advertising, and fundraising.
Some of the council's activities include spirit wear and dress down days, contests, school-wide activities, and community and school service projects. They work together to help create the type of school environment they want to be in.
