Personnel - Administration

The primary responsibility for the Administration of Christ the Divine Teacher School rests with the Board of Pastors and the Principal.

The Principal, Sr. Donna Marie Palya, VSC is a full- time administrator and a member of the Vincentian Sisters of Charity.

As an accredited elementary administrator, she adheres to the regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Greensburg Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools. In addition, her responsibilities include managing, directing and administrating all functions, personnel, programming and overseeing all activities, finances and operations of the school. As an administrator of a regional consolidated school, the Principal also fulfills a unique role in the unification of all aspects of the three main participating and 16 sending parishes.

The Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Donna McGuire-Rosner, supports the Principal in the day-to-day operations. In her role as an administrator, she coordinates classsroom and substitute scheduling and helps implement the school's discipline policy. She oversees the management of the cafeteria which includes student supervision, coordination of cafeteria and playground volunteers and adherence to the requirements of the National Lunch Program.

The administration values the assistance and support of the faculty, Parent-Teacher Guild, the Development Core Team and committee members, the Athletic Association, the Classroom Ambasadors and volunteers in the spiritual and academic life of the school.
