ADVENT SERVICE PROJECTS

EIGHTH & SEVENTH GRADE: We are filling stockings  to give to the residents of the Latrobe Care Center

SIXTH GRADE: We are participating in “Operation USO Care Package” by collecting donations that will help to support our men and women in uniform.  Each care package will contain our personalized message of support, a prepaid international phone card, playing cards, reading materials, travel size toiletries, snacks, and other requested and needed items.

FIFTH GRADE: The students in fifth grade will be collecting new toys for children up to age 12.  The toys will be donated to the “Toys for Tots” campaign sponsored by the U.S. Marines.

FOURTH GRADE: We are making Christmas votive candle holders and cards for the residents at Barnes House in Latrobe.

THIRD GRADE: We are showing our compassion and love for cancer patients by making them Christmas tree ornaments and inspirational bookmarks.

SECOND GRADE;  We will be Christmas Caroling at the Latrobe Care Center

FIRST GRADE:  First Grade is celebrating Advent by doing a special service project. We are creating Votive Candles for Assisted Living Facilities.

KINDERGARTEN: We will be creating gingerbread Christmas ornaments to be placed on a Christmas tree and donated to a local nursing home.
