Seton Hill Honors Band
Congratulations to sixth grade student Cameron Akins
for placing 2nd chair clarinetist in the Seton Hill University
Youth Honor’s Band auditions, Cameron will now 
attend a series of rehearsals and perform on the
Seton Hill University Honor’s Band concert on
Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
The previously scheduled date was February 6,
but, due to snow cancellations, it has been
rescheduled for February 20.
Girls JV Basketball
Congratulations to the CDT Sixth Grade JV Basketball Team
for winning the regular season in their section, and then winning
the JV Bracket A Tournament, to be both the regular season
and play-off champions. The girls were a perfect 10 wins and
0 losses this year through the regular season and play-offs.
The girls displayed a strong team spirit and good sportsmanship.
We are so proud of you! Go, Celtics!
Peace Poster Contest
A poster drawn by our student Sarah Hennessy was chosen
as our school’s winner in the annual Peace Poster contest
sponsored by the Lions Club International. Sarah’s poster
will now go on to further competition at the local
Latrobe Lions Club. Good luck, Sarah!
