Netbook Computers

        

    Students in sixth through eighth grade have
    each received a new HP netbook computer
    complete with carrying case, and an
    optical mouse.  The new computers allow 
    students to complete written assignments
    using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and
    Excel programs. 

    In addition, the computers have wireless Internet
    capability for research and instructional purposes. 
    Students are now able to connect to the worldwide
    Web from their classroom.
