From the Principal's Desk
Originally from Greensburg, I'm returning home after nearly twenty years living in and around Baltimore, Maryland. During that time, I've had the blessing to work as a teacher and administrator, most recently as the principal of St. Francis of Assisi School.
I join this school community both as principal and parent, as my son Jonathan and daughter Melanie will both be attending the school. My wife Michelle, who also has teaching experience, will help us all face the challenges of moving to a new state and beginning a new job. Please keep my family in your prayers as we negotiate the challenges of this journey.
Working with our parents is a top priority, and you will see some immediate changes to how communication is delivered. For example, following my back to school letter in a few weeks, I invite all interested families to attend a community meeting in the school cafeteria as a means to discuss relevant issues facing our school A few more "meet and greet" opportunities will also be taking place in August. Look for those dates and locations in the summer letter, and on upcoming web-site postings.
These are exciting times! I look forward to working with you all in the months ahead.
God Bless,
J. Kevin Frye,
Principal
